From the Cheap Seats: E-Coli of the Mouth

The former House Speaker, pictured here chumming it up with Communist Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, compared Republicans to E-coli while campaigning Monday in West Palm Beach, Fla., Home of the Hanging Chad

Nancy Pelosi referred to Republicans the “E-coli Club” yesterday while campaigning for a Democrat in West  Palm Beach, Florida.

Well, she would certainly be familiar with the culture, given that she’s a constant supplier of the medium.

But cheap shots aside, really, is this the best Nancy Pelosi can manage?  To compare Republicans to a bacillus?

Perhaps it is, when you’re on the Dole, as Pelosi has been her entire political life.

We could go on and on about her misuse of government jets to cross the country during her short-lived reign of turpitude as speaker, we could talk about the squalor of San Francisco, which adores her, we could talk about the outright silliness of “We have to pass the bill so we can find out what’s in it,” and other rank idiocy.

But let’s just say that ex-Speaker Pelosi is very familiar with E coli given her propensity for spewing it.
