From the Cheap Seats: Obamacare Ads Offend Target Audience

It appears that ProgressNow's target audience isn't on board with their trashy Obamacare ad campaign

WAR ON WOMEN? ProgressNow’s target audience isn’t too enthusiastic about the trashy Obamacare ad campaign

We knew it was only a matter of time before someone asked college women what they think about ProgressNow Colorado’s wretched Obamacare ad campaign, and it turns out that someone is Caleb Bonham of Campus Reform.

Bonham’s latest video shows him interviewing students at the University of Colorado Boulder about the ad featuring “Susie,” who says she’s super-pumped about having health insurance that covers birth-control pills so that “all I have to worry about is getting him between the covers.”

To nobody’s surprise, the college students interviewed by Bonham were uniformly disgusted by the message, even though some of them said they support Obamacare.

“Oh, my God,” says one female student after getting a look at the ad called “Let’s Get Physical.”

Funny, that’s exactly what Cheap Seats thought after seeing the cringe-inducing attempt at hipness, part of a social-media campaign by ProgressNow Colorado Education and the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative urging young adults to bail out the state’s struggling health-insurance exchange.

It was obvious that none of the dozen students in the video had seen the ad, which must be the worst part for the posers at ProgNow.

“I’ve never seen this actually before, so I’m a little shocked. That’s really weird,” says another young woman.

Kudos to Bonham for demonstrating that the Millennials aren’t a bunch of sex-crazed airheads, and also to CU students for defying the offensive stereotypes peddled by the Obamacare pimps.

Bonham’s interviews can be viewed below.
