BEAUPREZ: Obama is consistently a big fan of societies that are completely controlled by government

On September 12, the morning after he learned an attack in Benghazi, Libya had killed four Americans, including a distinguished U.S. Ambassador, his aide and two former Navy SEALS,  Barack Obama said such events are just “bumps in the road” that are to be expected. Read more »

TANCREDO: President Obama’s weak actions since the violent events in Cairo and Benghazi have only served to fuel the protests, not deter them

A U.S. ambassador is dead, and over 30 U.S. embassies across the globe are under violent attack as a direct result of President Obama’s attempted appeasement of radical Islam. How many more Americans will die before that policy can be reversed and Obama removed from office? Read more »

Guest Commentary: Buyers Remorse on Obama

August 29, 2012

SILVERMAN: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I feel deceived and let down by Barack Obama.

I support Mitt Romney for President and Paul Ryan  for Vice-President.  For most of my life,  I have been a Democrat and I very publicly voted (live C-Span, live radio, NY Times)  for Obama-Biden in 2008.  As I studied  Obama’s performance as President, I could no longer support him. Read more »

Guest Commentary: Why Obama Can’t Campaign on His Record

August 28, 2012
By

TANCREDO: Obama will not campaign on his record because he can’t. His record is one of non-accomplishment in every field he has entered.

In 1984 Ronald Reagan sought a second term under the campaign theme of a sunny optimism about the future – “Morning in America.” A generation later, Obama’s campaign banner, “Forward,” is cleverly ambiguous: It begs the question, forward to what? Read more »

TIPTON: We need comprehensive tax reform that will simplify the code, lower rates, broaden the base, and eliminate loopholes

For 42 straight months, the unemployment rate in America has been at or above eight percent. Millions of families are struggling. America’s small businesses – which create the majority of jobs in America – lack the confidence and certainty needed to invest, grow, and hire. Read more »

August 16, 2012
By

OVERBECK: Due to Mr. Obama’s mismanagement of the economy, 100 million of the 300 million people in this country are now on some kind of government welfare according to the U.S Census

The National Organization for Women (NOW) is calling the Republican presidential ticket of Romney and Ryan “the most dangerous men in America,” claiming they want to ban birth control and abortion. Obama groups are running ads with a woman staring soulfully into the camera, intoning “It’s a scary time to be a woman” and claiming that new Romney VP pick Paul Ryan would end birth control and choice. Guest Commentary: White House on Jobs Report: “Don’t Look!”

August 7, 2012
By

BEAUPREZ:  Unemployment rose to 8.3% in July as the total number of unemployed workers increased by 45,000. That’s 42 months in a row over 8.0%.

When the dismal June jobs report was released, Barack Obama tried to shine it up by calling it “a step in the right direction.”  However, the July report released last Friday was so bad that the White House advised us not to even look at it.  Americans really “shouldn’t focus on any single monthly jobs report,” they warned.  Read more »

July 18, 2012
By

TIPTON: The United Nations General Assembly is currently convened in New York to draft language for an Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) that would give the UN a say in the regulation of our nation’s domestic gun ownership

Our Founding Fathers guaranteed us the right to bear arms under the Second Amendment, putting into place a fundamental liberty to safeguard against tyranny and protect our sacred nation.  This right which has been protected through the sacrifice of the members of our Armed Forces past and present, is under assault.
